SaferWatch Announces Leadership Transition; Rob Flippo Appointed Chief Executive Officer
Fort Lauderdale, FL – SaferWatch, a leading public safety technology company, today announced a leadership transition. Geno Roefaro has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer, and the company’s Board has appointed Rob Flippo as CEO, effective immediately.
The Board extends its appreciation to Roefaro for his vision and leadership in founding and building SaferWatch into a nationally recognized public safety platform serving schools, government agencies, law enforcement, healthcare providers, businesses, and community organizations across the United States.
Rob Flippo transitions into the CEO role after serving as Chief Operating Officer of SaferWatch. With more than 35 years of experience leading high-tech companies- from start-ups to Fortune 50 organizations- Flippo brings deep operational expertise and a proven track record in the communications and safety technology sectors.
Flippo co-founded a nationwide safety company serving more than 300,000 clients, culminating in multiple successful acquisitions. He has also held executive leadership roles at Motorola Solutions and Emergin (acquired by Philips Medical). Flippo holds seven U.S. patents and earned his MBA from the University of Miami.
